What we really meant by that is that it lacks the aggressive design that you have seen on other Predator and Nitro gaming laptops. Instead, the Triton 500 SE features a much cleaner design which would allow it to fit into a professional setting.
Unlike certain markets which receive the Mini LED option, the Malaysian variant is limited to an IPS panel although it still has WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. However, customers can still choose to have it with either Intel Core i7-11800H or Core i9-11900H. The Core i7 model is also equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and 16GB RAM as standard while the beefier Core i9 option features GeForce RTX 3080 and 32GB RAM. Regardless of the model you choose, both variants are equipped with a 1TB solid state drive by default. In terms of pricing, the Predator Triton 500 SE with Core i7 goes RM8,999 and the Core i9 version can be obtained for RM12,999. To be available for pre-order from 30 October until 6 November through Acer Malaysia e-store, the brand’s store in Shopee, and Authorized Predator Partners throughout the country, each pre-order customer will receive a Predator Gaming Chair, Utility Backpack, Galea 350 headset, and limited-edition merchandises.
