Going into the details, The M Pass of the XP Lite postpaid plan actually still only adds 7GB of data to the plan. Instead, you also get unlimited data to stream videos on YouTube, but you’ll be limited to SD quality (480p) videos. The L Pass, on the other hand, goes from giving 14GB of data to 15GB, and allows you unlimited YouTube video streaming in HD (720p). The price for both plans have not changed, costing an additional RM10 and RM30 respectively, on top of the also unchanged RM28 base price of the plan.
Celcom says that all existing subscribers to the XP Lite plans with either pass will get these benefits in their next billing cycle. In addition, users with either passes that have been subscribed for over six months will also get one hour of unlimited data everyday in what the telco calls the Ultra Hour Pass. This was previously a benefit for only subscribers with the L Pass. Whichever pass you pick, the XP Lite postpaid plan always comes with unlimited calls.
