True to the materials that were leaked online, the unlimited offerings are available as a RM 12 weekly pass and RM 35 monthly pass with both of them come with a speed cap of 3Mbps.
We have reached out to Celcom to check if there is an exact quota on data usages for these passes as what Maxis has put on its Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited plan. The telco responded that there is indeed no quota on these passes but customers still bound to its Fair Usage Policy :
ORIGINAL STORY (12:18 PM): Last week, the release of Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited plan has generated quite a buzz in the market. Not surprisingly, its competitors have taken notice and seem like another telco is preparing to release its own unlimited prepaid offering. Popular local Twitter tech writer, @XavierNaxa has shared two screenshots which seemed to be taken from the Celcom Life app. One of the screenshots showed an unlimited month Internet pass which costs RM 35 alongside weekly pass that is priced at RM 12.

The pass also comes with Hotspot quota of 3GB while sharing the same speed cap as per normal usages. At the same time, the monthly pass also includes unlimited call although the Fair Usage Policy for this unlimited pass for Xpax prepaid plan is still nowhere to be found. In its response to our query, Celcom stated that it has no official comment about the Xpax unlimited pass for the time being though. Nevertheless, there are already signs that it will be officially revealed soon. We’ll keep you posted once we hear more.
