Regardless of version, it is said that the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series will be offered in either LTE or Bluetooth-only options, and will run on wearOS 3.5 via the company’s One UI Watch 4.5 interface. Additionally, the Pro variant is shown to come in a single 45mm size, while the standard model is said to be available in a 44mm option as well as an unspecified smaller size. In terms of colourways, Blass says that the former will be available in either Black or Grey Titanium, whereas the latter will have a more expansive colour palette” than its sibling. Printed details visible on the back of the watches suggest that both variants are designed to be water resistant with a depth rating of 5 ATM. The provided renders reveal that the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will feature a more rugged-looking design, with thicker bezels surrounding its display. On its back is what appears to be its sensor array, while on the right side of the watch are two protruding buttons. Meanwhile, the watch also comes with an adjustable strap with what appears to be a magnetic locking mechanism. The standard Galaxy Watch5, on the other hand, is shown to sport a larger display with thinner bezels and a slightly slimmer side profile than the Pro. Much like its sibling, on its back is the sensor array, and also two protruding buttons on its right side. Lastly, attached to the device appears to be traditional straps. Unfortunately, Blass did not detail the pricing for either upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch5 models. As usual, we’ll only find more information regarding the series when it launches sometime in August, provided that the leakster’s information is accurate. (Source: Evan Blass, via 91Mobiles)
