According to Casio, the watch’s interchangeable bezels are being attached to its inner case via carbon fibre hooks instead of screws as per traditional 5600 models. This allows owners to change the case easily using the tool provided inside the package. In the same package, the company has also provided owners with another bezel in matte black as well as a matching band that has been etched with “3229” numerals on it which is a reference to the watch’s module number. The package also includes a third band that has circuit board design as well but is made from fabric instead of resin and is draped in white with a reflective finish.
Casio has also pointed out that the DW-5600CC is the first G-Shock 5600 series to feature Carbon Core Guard structure which means that the watch’s inner case has been reinforced with carbon fibre. In Malaysia, the DW-5600CC has an official price tag of RM 999 and can be obtained through G-Shock Kiosk at Isetan as well as authorised dealers nationwide.
