“I am aware that the daily earnings of full-time e-hailing drivers are affected by the Movement Control Order (MCO),” said Muhyiddin Yassin. “To ease their burden, the Government will provide one-off financial aid of RM500 to 120,000 drivers with an allocation of RM60 million.” The prime minister also added that taxi drivers will receive a one-off payment of RM600 starting 1 April 2020, as decided in the Economic Stimulus Package announced prior to this.
