Much like Huawei’s flagship, the Honor 50 is shown to sport two large circular glass camera bumps on its rear panel, which is also almost identical in terms of size and layout. However, what sets it apart from the P50 are the cameras in each bump – where the upper array features a single large sensor, while the bottom is revealed to house three different shooters.
Despite not visibly shown in any official promotional materials, the Honor 50 will feature a 10-bit 1-billion colour “Hypercurved Screen”. This was revealed in a separate image which was provided by the brand’s senior global PR manager on Twitter, who also added that the phone will include 100W fast charging capability. In terms of specifications, it was previously confirmed that the standard variant will feature a Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, while unofficial sources believe that the Pro model may come with the flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC. Other than that, the Honor 50 will be the first of many products from the company to see the return of Google Mobile Services and its supported applications.
