To start, both feature a multi-sided tempered glass case. Specifically, the Illegear Poseidon uses the Tecware VXR, while the Illegear Poseidon XE uses Lian Li’s O11 Dynamic. The starting options for both CPU and GPU are a little different too. The Poseidon’s options start with an AMD Ryzen 3 3200 processor and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU. As for the Poseidon XE, it starts with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor and an Nvdidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.
The rest of desktops’ the spec sheet are pretty much identical. The top of the line CPU choices for both are between an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X or an Intel Core i9-9900K. As for graphics, both can go up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX2080 Ti, or even the Quadro RTX 8000. Both the Poseidon and Poseidon XE can get all the way up to 128GB of RAM. Being a desktop system, you can really go wild with the storage options and the cooling system. The price of the Illegear Poseidon starts from RM3699, while the Illegear Poseidon XE starts from RM5199. The water cooling options will bring the options a little higher, especially if you opt for the colourful RGB options. (Source: Illegear)
