Like all concept stores and showrooms, Illegear’s own establishment comes with its own products and projects on display for all to see. On the laptop side of things, you’ll find notebook models such as its new Laguna and Prodigy notebooks, among its other models. As mentioned earlier, Illegear also had several of its custom-made desktop PCs on display. But while the majority of their casings and CPU coolers bore its branding, it should be made clear that all the components used in the building process are in partnership with other OEM brands. Seagate and Zotac are among Illegear’s confirmed partners, along with a handful of other OEM brands that the brand didn’t specify.
On another note, Illegear also expressed both its interest and desire to open other concept showrooms within the nation and, quite surprisingly, on an international scale. Domestically, the company said that it was looking at opening more concept stores in cities such as Ipoh and Johor Bahru, but fell short of providing any details as to how it intends to do so. It’s the same story about Illegear’s international expansion. We tried to dig for more detail, but unfortunately, the brand wasn’t budging and keeping any details about its plans very close to its chest. The only information it did spill, though, was this; the first city outside of Malaysia was still going to be in Asia.
In any case, Illegear’s showroom is now open to the both the general public and fans. A word of warning: at the time of writing, the showroom is still undergoing some renovations and upgrade. Illegear tells us that these renovations are to make way for a possible experiential zone, as well as the possibility of a VR Zone in the near and immediate future.
