The new 9th Gen Core X-series offers up to 18-core setup which equal to 36-threads thanks to the well-established Intel Hyper-Threading tech. Apart from that, all of them also support Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology that helps the new processors to deliver optimal performance for both lightly and heavily threaded applications.
The 9th Gen Intel Core X-series has a total of 7 new processors for consumers to choose from, as shown below:
These new Intel Core X-series processors will be available to consumers throughout the world starting from this November onwards. They will also continue to be compatible with existing Intel X299-based motherboards although such motherboards might require a BIOS update before they can work with the 9th Gen Intel Core X-series CPUs.
