OnLeaks’ render of the FE’s front design matches the earlier leak, also revealing a flat display (believed to support up to 120Hz refresh rate) with a centred punch-hole camera cutout below its upper bezel. On its back is a familiar Samsung-styled camera island sporting a triple-shooter setup, while on its right side are its volume rockers and lock button, and on the bottom we see a USB-C port and a speaker grille. As with most phones by the Korean brand nowadays, a 3.5mm headphone jack is absent.
— Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) August 15, 2020 Specifications for the Galaxy S20 FE, according to PriceBaba, are mostly speculations from various sources. It is said that the upcoming Samsung smartphone will feature a Snapdragon 865 chipset, but there’s a chance that the company might fit it with an Exynos processor in European and Asian regions. The site added that the FE may include 6GB of RAM, and a battery capacity of 4,500mAh. Other than that, they believe that the phone will run on Android 10 via the latest version of Samsung One UI. Camera-wise, PriceBaba cited leakster IceUniverse’s tweet in late July suggesting that the Galaxy S20 FE could feature a 12MP Sony IMX555 main sensor. As for the other two cameras, they mentioned that it may include another 12MP shooter as an ultra-wide angle shooter, as well as an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom capability. In the punch-hole cutout on the phone’s display is believed to be a 32MP selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is still unofficial, and it is not known when Samsung is planning to unveil or release the alleged device. Given that the company had recently launched its latest Galaxy Note20 series, it is quite likely that this new smartphone will be announced in another month or two, or even sometime before the year ends.
