In total, there are three variants of the GS66 Stealth; the baseline model runs on a 10th generation Intel Core i9-10750HK, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. Of course, it’s the other two that MSI wants you to look out for, especially since they’re the ones rocking the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX Super GPUs. To be precise, both variant house the same Intel Core i9-10980HK CPU and depending on the user’s choice, you’re spoilt between a GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max-Q or an RTX 2080 Super Max-Q.
Regardless of the CPU and GPU configurations, though, all models come with 16GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM, MSI’s per-key RGB gaming keyboard by SteelSeries, and a 15.6-inch Full HD panel with high refresh rate. Specifically, the base model has a refresh rate of 240Hz, while the display for the other two are rated at 300Hz. Storage-wise, only the model with the RTX 2080 Max-Q comes with a 2TB NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 SSD, while the other two will ship out with just 1TB of storage.
As for the pricing of the GS66 Stealth, they obviously won’t come cheap. The base model with the full-sized RTX 2060 retails for RM8399, while the models with the RTX 2070 Max-Q and RTX 2080 Max-Q will set you back RM13999 and RM16999, respectively. On a related note, while we do have the pricing for MSI’s new thin and light gaming laptops, the Taiwanese brand says that it will only begin bringing the notebook into Malaysia after the Movement Control Order (MCO) lifts. We also did ask MSI about the GE66 Raider’s pricing and availability in Malaysia, but the brand was only able to confirm that the notebook will be coming sometime in May.
