As it turns out though, the deal didn’t go through though. While Logitech has confirmed through a brief press release on Sunday that the company has indeed embarked in discussions with Plantronics, the talks have already been terminated.
Even though the acquisition will no longer take place, it was still a rather interesting move by Logitech who already acquired so many audio companies prior to its attempt on Plantronics. Among such brands that are now part of the Swiss company includes Ultimate Ears, Blue Microphones, ASTRO Gaming, and Jaybird. Hence, we don’t think Logitech going to stop acquiring new companies anytime soon. Of course, then comes the question: who’s next? (Source: Logitech)
