It turns out that the teaser was actually building up to an announcement for the company’s European tour which will showcase the OnePlus Piano, an instrument made up of 17 units of the OnePlus 7T Pro. Lined up to simulate a piano experience. According to a staff member in the official OnePlus forum, the piano was designed and built from scratch, using 3D modelling and precision craftsmanship.
The design allows the arranged individual units of the OnePlus 7T Pro to create a “seamless and smooth” piano experience by utilising the phone’s 90Hz Fluid Display Technology. To demonstrate the piano’s musical performance, the European tour will be accompanied by pianist Karim Kamar from the UK. The tour will kick off from London, and will later visit other European cities including Paris, Rothenburg, and Helsinki.
