In terms of variants, the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage can be obtained for RM 1,399 while the higher-end option which features 126GB RAM and 256GB storage is listed at RM 1,799. However, there are indeed some discounts for those who choose to adopt the new phone early.
The first 100 pre-order customers that choose the OnePlus Nord CE 5G with 8GB/128GB will receive a RM 30 discount. However, those who opt for the 12GB/256GB variant will get more though as they are able to purchase the phone at a much lower price of RM 1,599 and will also receive an additional RM 50 discount if they are among the first 100 pre-order customers. The RM 1,599 early bird price will still be valid on the OnePlus Nord CE 5G’s release day in Malaysia which is scheduled to take place on 26 June although it will be exclusive to OnePlus official store on Shopee. If you prefer to purchase the phone at other stores, your option will be limited to the 8GB/128GB variant at launch day. Even though the CE in its name is standard for its Core Edition, the new phone seems to be able to hold its own ground, as far as specs are concerned. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, it offers a 6.43-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. In addition to that, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 64MP triple camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, and a 4500mAh battery. Wrapping up the phone’s general specs is the support for the company’s Warp Charge 30T Plus charger which allows the phone to be charged from 0 to 70% in 30 minutes.
