IceUniverse has recently shared alleged details regarding the OPPO Find X2’s display and charging capabilities. The leaker suggests that the phone will sport a WQHD 120Hz screen and 65W SuperVOOC charging. He added that it will only take 35 minutes for full charge, making it possibly the second smartphone from OPPO to feature this. The first being the Reno Ace model.
— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) January 29, 2020 As for hardware specifications, MySmartPrice reports that the Find X2 may be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. They added that it also features a curved 6.5-inch display with 2K resolution, along with the 120hz refresh rate. Additionally, the website also revealed that the new OPPO phone will be available in two models – a standard Find X2 and a higher spec Pro variant. To back this claim, MySmartPrice shared their discovery of the phones’ approved certifications in Thailand’s NBTC website – listed as “CPH2023” and “CPH2025” respectively. What’s even more interesting is that the standard Find X2 may already be in Malaysia. As previously reported, two new OPPO phones have recently been approved by SIRIM, but their identities are yet unknown. The first device – listed as CPH2015 – is speculated to be either the OPPO A31 or the Reno S, while the second model bears the model number of CPH2023. Sounds familiar? If these sources are correct, it might seem that OPPO could reveal the Find X2 much sooner than expected. But as usual for speculations and rumours, it’s best not to take them seriously until they’re officially confirmed. (Source: IceUniverse, MySmartPrice. | Header image: OPPO Find X)
