Underneath the hood, the Razer Blade 17 Pro is equipped with the new 9th generation Intel Core i7-9750H 6-core CPU, which has a base clock of 2.6GHz and boost clock of 4.5GHz. Accompanying the CPU is a base 16GB DDR4-2667MHz RAM configuration, but that amount can be upgraded to 64GB. Storage on the Razer Blade 17 Pro is settled by a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD, but Razer’s specs sheet states that the capacity can be expanded by a further 2TB via an open M.2 slot. On a sidenote, the keyboard on the Razer Blade 17 Pro utilises Razer’s per-key RGB lighting system, driven by the brand’s Chroma LED technology.
For its GPU, consumers can choose between an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070 Max-Q, or an RTX 2080 Max-Q. Complementing these GPUs is a 17.3-inch Full HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the display on the Razer Blade 17 Pro is also rated at 300 nits brightness, as well as a 100% sRGB colour accuracy. The Razer Blade 17 Pro also appears to house a healthy number of ports. This includes three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port, 2 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports (shared with Thunderbolt 3), one Thunderbolt 3 port, a LAN port, one HDMI 2.0b port, and lastly, a UHS-III SDCard reader.
Connectivity for the Razer Blade 17 Pro included support for the Wi-Fi 6 standard, making this one of the few gaming notebooks on the market to support the new high-speed wireless standard. Oh, and it also has support for Bluetooth 5.0 as well. Pricing for the Razer Blade 17 Pro starts from US$2499 (~RM10327).
