Maybank revealed on Twitter that it would be carrying out scheduled maintenance for various services this Friday on 9 October 2020 from 11.30pm until 11.59pm. According to the bank, online services via its Maybank2u website and app will be affected including online payments, bank transfers, QR Pay, and Wealth. It noted that offline services such as debit card transactions, ATM, and automated cheque deposit will also be unavailable within the aforementioned time.

The bank noted that these services will undergo system maintenance from 12am to 4am on the aforementioned date. Bank Rakyat, on the other hand, tweeted that its banking services will be disrupted due to maintenance starting 4pm on 9 October and is scheduled to end at 12pm on 12 October. The bank noted that its Kredit-i service would not be affected during that time. It also advised customers to plan their transactions ahead of time in order to avoid any inconveniences, as well as to stay tuned to its social media accounts for any updates during the maintenance period.

The bank’s maintenance schedule revealed that online transaction services via debit cards will be affected during that time frame. According to a report by The Star, CIMB commenced maintenance work for its Clicks services earlier this morning at 2am, which has already ended at 2pm this afternoon. Services that were affected include bill payment and top up via debit card, as well as credit and prepaid card related transaction services.
