Specifically, Xiaomi’s call to arms simply tells its fans that it will be hosting a live stream launch event on 30 April 2019 at 9PM. By then, Xiaomi will undoubtedly divulge more information about the Mi 9 SE’s availability in the country, accompanied by its official price tag. Interestingly, it looks like the live stream will also serve as a window of opportunity for fans to try and score themselves a limited edition Brown Bear Edition Mi 9 SE set. This particular was launched in China at the start of the month, and retails for 2499 Yuan (~RM1535).
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE was launched alongside the Mi 9 back in February this year. Unlike its bigger brother, the Mi 9 SE houses a mid-range Snapdragon 712 SoC and 6GB RAM. More importantly, the phone houses a triple camera main array, comprising a 48MP main sensor, 13MP wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens. In any case, if you’ve been eyeing this phone, you’ll definitely want to save the date.
