UPDATE (9:05 AM): Both the main page banner and dedicated page for the device on Lazada Malaysia have been removed as of this morning. ORIGINAL STORY (12:49 AM): While we are not sure whether it is mistake or otherwise but It seems that Lazada Malaysia has revealed the official price of Xiaomi Mi 9T for our market. As you might have heard, the phone is indeed scheduled for launch today but its launch event will only take place later in the afternoon. According to the banner on Lazada Malaysia’s front page as well as a separate dedicated page, the Mi 9T with 64GB internal storage will be made available through Xiaomi’s official store on Lazada Malaysia for RM 1,199. However, customers are able to purchase it for slightly less at RM 1,099 on 25 June.
However, the e-commerce site didn’t reveal whether there are variants of Mi 9T will be made available in Malaysia. According to Xiaomi’s global website, the Mi 9T can be obtained with 128GB storage although the amount of RAM continues to be the same at 6GB just like the 64GB variant. Hence, it is quite likely that Xiaomi Malaysia still has other details to announce at the Mi 9T official launch event later this afternoon. So, stay tuned. (Source: Lazada Malaysia.)
