From the PlayStation website, you can now request for such an adapter. All you have to do is determine which model of the PS Camera that your PS VR came with. The company has provided a guide as to where to find the model number on your unit, so it shouldn’t be an issue.
Once that’s done, you’ll be asked for your address, where PlayStation will send the adapter to. The company is also not charging anything for this, which is nice. But the delivery itself will take some time, with countries in Asia excluding Japan getting them in early December. At this point, it’s important to note that this whole process is necessary because the PS5 HD Camera isn’t compatible with the PS VR headset. It’s definitely odd that the camera for the next-gen console to be omitting features. But at least the company is providing the workaround at no cost beyond time.
